IllFonic Reveals Haddonfield Heights Map for Halloween in New PC Gaming Show Trailer
During the PC Gaming Show, IllFonic dropped a new trailer for its asymmetrical multiplayer horror game, Halloween, unveiling the first playable map: Haddonfield Heights. The map revisits the fictional Illinois town made famous by the 1978 Halloween film, where Michael Myers stalks Laurie Strode.
Positioned beneath Haddonfield’s towering water tower, Haddonfield Heights is designed as a deceptively cozy neighborhood that conceals danger behind tidy lawns and white picket fences. The layout emphasizes compact streets, clustered homes, and numerous hiding spots—creating opportunities for tense chases, cunning escapes, and tactical ambushes.

In playable matches, survivors must scavenge supplies, shepherd townspeople to safety, and find a working phone to summon help before time expires. As the killer, Michael prowls the streets and can use abilities—such as a teleport-like Shape Jump—to close distance quickly and strike from the shadows.
IllFonic’s design director Jordan Mathewson explains that the team wanted to capture the look and feel of Haddonfield while turning everyday domestic details into sources of dread. The map’s architecture and small-scale environments were crafted to amplify suspense and reward smart play for both hunters and those on the run.
Halloween is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 8, 2026.
