Guinea Pig Gunner received a new teaser trailer ahead of Steam Next Fest in June 2026. The free-to-play action game from Glowmatic puts players in control of Gunner, a cyborg guinea pig built as Earth’s last response to an alien invasion.
The setup is deliberately strange. The Terranublan Empire has broken through Earth’s defenses, and a rogue AI has pushed a reptilian army into treating it like a divine force. Dr. Norbert answers with Project G25-2100: a small animal carrying oversized combat technology.
Gunner’s core tool is a teleporter gun. A shot can become a new position, letting the player cross gaps, change elevation, escape enemy fire, or push into a fight from an unexpected angle. Movement abilities are available from the start, including double jump, dash, and wall jump.
The arsenal also leans into chaos. Fire can spread between enemies, drones chase the player with bombs, and ground troops try to flank instead of standing still. The teaser also shows a war-torn Earth City, the first encounter with Garranock, and a boss fight against Lieutenant Salkrank.
Guinea Pig Gunner is available on Steam as a free-to-play release for PC, Mac, and Linux. A demo is also listed for Steam Next Fest June 2026.
