Fortnite to Feature Five Nights at Freddy’s Collaboration Alongside New Fortnitemares Trailer

The developers of Fortnite are bringing content from another well-known franchise to the game.

In late September, Epic Games officially confirmed a Fortnite collaboration with Five Nights At Freddy’s. Rumors regarding this partnership had been circulating online for some time, and the developers have now released a short teaser trailer.

The published video features several well-known characters from the Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise: Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy. These characters are expected to receive skins in the game. The video also shows broken versions of the animatronics, though it remains unclear whether these will serve as an alternative style option for the skins.

The Fortnite developers have not yet published a list of available content. Judging by the teaser, the game may feature an event where a player climbs inside a damaged animatronic, followed by gameplay from the perspective of an animatronic attacking regular characters.

The Fortnite x Five Nights At Freddy’s collaboration is scheduled to launch on October 1, 2026. It will debut alongside a major update titled Fortnitemares.
