Escape from Tarkov Developers Introduce New Event with Seasonal Documents for Daily Tasks

Some players have already managed to complete the Kord Breach battle pass.

In late September, the developers of Escape from Tarkov launched a new in-game event in the extraction shooter centered around the conflict between PMCs and Scavs. Players received another way to progress through the battle pass.

Now, seasonal documents that can be exchanged for rewards can be earned by completing daily tasks:

Rumors quickly spread among the Scavs about a convoy of fighters in black gear that came under mortar fire. According to those who managed to reach the site, the attackers got their hands on two intercepted vehicles packed to the roof with various documents. Word is the papers had to do with TerraGroup. Some of the documents were successfully fenced off to traders in exchange for supplies that, according to the Scavs themselves, “are worth more than any money.”

The daily tasks that grant documents are standard: players must eliminate PMCs, survive on a specific location (or any location), and hand over specific items found during raids. The documents awarded for these tasks do not count toward the daily limit.

Escape from Tarkov fans joked that the developers will probably figure out how to remove the daily limit on gathering documents in raids shortly before the first season of the Kord Breach battle pass ends.

The developers also commented on the situation at Lighthouse:

The situation around Lighthouse has not become any calmer. Shootouts between PMC groups and Scavs continue with the same intensity. Some attribute this to a temporary increase in airdrops in this part of the coastline—too much cargo is moving through the area to go unnoticed.
