That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Returning in Summer 2027 With Clayman Spinoff in Spring

The creators will fill the gap between the second and third cours with a standalone story about Clayman.

The third part of the fourth season of the anime “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” will start in July 2027. Before the main story returns, viewers will get the spin-off “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Clayman’s Revenge”, which premieres in April 2027.

“Clayman’s Revenge” offers an alternative perspective on the events of the main story. After dying at the hands of Rimuru, the demon lord receives the unique skill “Regressor” and wakes up 70 years before his own death. Retaining his memories of defeat, Clayman tries to change the future and avoid past mistakes.

Production on “Clayman’s Revenge” is being handled by 8-Bit, the studio working on the main series as well. Kentaro Sugimoto will direct, Yuji Haibara is in charge of series composition, and Asumi Hashimoto and Hideki Sakai are handling character designs.

In total, the fourth season of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” will be split into five cours. Release dates for the fourth and fifth parts have not yet been announced.
