GTA VI Suspected of Graphics Downgrade, Fans Offer Explanation
The new 90-second Grand Theft Auto VI trailer has sparked debate among viewers, some of whom say the graphics look worse than before.
The first reactions focused on the views of Leonida and the story of Jason and Lucia. After that, some viewers said the graphics had taken a step back from the earlier trailers. In places, the image does look blurry, and small details lose their sharpness.
Observant fans suggested the cause is heavy video processing, including a cinematic blur filter, a glow effect, and HDR settings. One user even posted a version of the trailer after digital correction, in which sharp outlines and small details are more noticeable.
The most likely explanation is that Rockstar prepared the cut for television and large cinema screens, where a softer image may look better.
