Grave Mistakes puts up to four players in a funeral home with a hungry monster
Happy Volcano and publisher Oro Interactive have announced Grave Mistakes, a cooperative horror comedy about running the Good Mourning funeral home. Playtest sign-ups are open on Steam, where the PC release is listed for November 2026.
Two to four players prepare bodies, deal with visitors and handle ceremonies while keeping a monster in the basement fed. The creature is the company’s grandmother CEO, and the staff must supply body parts without letting grieving families notice what is missing.
A basketball can stand in for a head and a shovel for an arm. Those substitutions still have to survive a funeral, alongside other jobs such as delivering a eulogy or playing the organ. Online cooperation and proximity voice chat support the resulting mishaps.
Between ceremonies, players can improve the funeral home and its equipment. The announcement trailer shows how the team’s ordinary work collides with the demands of the basement resident.
