Ghost of Yotei for PC cancelled despite nearly complete version – Insider
The PC version of Ghost of Yotei was reportedly in the final stages of development and slated for a 2026 debut, but Sony has officially pulled the plug on the project. According to Bloomberg, the company has undergone a strategic shift and no longer intends to release its flagship first-party single-player titles on the PC platform.
Industry insider DetectiveSeeds shared the following insight:
Several sources indicate that the porting process was “highly advanced,” with a firm release window targeted for 2026. While the PC gaming community was eagerly anticipating the chance to experience the title and its multiplayer features, Sony appears committed to keeping its most powerful intellectual properties exclusive to its consoles.
