Gate Zero Resembles Mix of Assassin’s Creed and Sci-Fi
Gate Zero will offer a distinct alternative to Assassin’s Creed by sending players traveling between the year 2072 and the first century AD to alter the past and save the future.
Gate Zero is an action-adventure game from the new studio Templar Media. Protagonist Max travels between the future and biblical versions of Judea and Galilee. His goal is to stop the UniFi corporation, which controls human lives and information flow in its created dystopian world.
The release is expected in spring 2027. A playable version of the project was shown at Gamescom, and a new trailer showcases the dynamic combat system and Max’s movement between eras.
The game clearly does not belong to the same league as Assassin’s Creed, although similar gameplay and story elements will inevitably lead to comparisons between the two projects.
