Guillermo del Toro’s fantasy film “Frankenstein” has officially been added to the Netflix streaming catalogue.
Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi lead the cast in this adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel, which follows a scientist who assembles a human-like being from parts of the deceased. His creation eventually awakens with its own consciousness and turns into a threat to its maker.
“Frankenstein” premiered in competition at the 82nd Venice Film Festival and has received a warm critical reception (85% on Rotten Tomatoes).
