Dedicated first-person shooter enthusiasts will soon have an event tailored entirely to their genre. The inaugural FPS Games Show—a pre-recorded digital broadcast spotlighting upcoming and existing tactical shooters—is scheduled to stream exclusively on Twitch on Thursday, September 3, at 2:00 PM EDT.

Spearheaded by Bulkhead, the development team behind the forthcoming tactical title Wardogs, the broadcast aims to deliver exclusive gameplay premieres, substantial developmental updates, and fresh project reveals. Unlike standard industry conventions that charge premium entry fees, participation in the showcase is entirely free for developers, eliminating marketing costs for featured studios.

A curated roster of 16 standout titles will be featured during the presentation:

  • Rainbow Six Siege
  • Escape from Tarkov
  • Ready or Not
  • Gray Zone Warfare
  • Wardogs
  • Bodycam
  • SCUM
  • Hell Let Loose: Vietnam
  • Beautiful Light
  • Incursion Red River
  • Road to Vostok
  • Stalzone
  • Bellum
  • Sand: Raiders of Sophie
  • ’83
  • Terminal War

“First-person shooters have anchored the gaming landscape for over three decades, fostering one of the most passionate communities in interactive entertainment,” stated Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer. “However, those fans rarely get a dedicated platform solely committed to major news and new announcements. The FPS Games Show seeks to resolve that void by uniting studios to highlight their creations, uplift one another, and celebrate a mutual love for the genre.”

Elaborating on the motivation behind the initiative, Bulkhead UI/UX director Howard Philpott explained that mainstream multi-genre presentations rarely cater adequately to hardcore FPS fans. Brammer and Philpott highlighted that traditional major showcases often command up to $300,000 for a single 60-second trailer slot—a prohibitive barrier that motivated the studio to build a dedicated, developer-friendly alternative.

Alongside the digital presentation, Valve is collaborating with the organizers to host a dedicated Steam event featuring exclusive playable demos, promotional discounts, and limited-time free weekend access for selected titles. For more details, visit the official FPS Games Show website.
