Football Manager 26 to Receive Official FIFA License for the First Time — Full 2026 World Cup

Football Manager 26 is finally securing an official FIFA license — a long-awaited update fans have sought for years. Thanks to an extended collaboration between Sports Interactive and FIFA, the game will incorporate officially branded competitions such as the FIFA World Cup 2026, the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

The 2026 World Cup, to be hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, will be fully represented in FM26: all 48 national teams, authentic team kits and the official tournament schedule. This content will be delivered as a free update and will arrive before the competition begins.

The International Management mode, which allows players to take charge of national sides, returns with meaningful enhancements enabled by the FIFA license, bringing a more genuine and immersive managerial experience.

Football Manager 26 launches on November 4, 2025 for PC and Mac, arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and will also be available on mobile through Netflix and Apple Arcade. It’s a significant milestone for the series — the first time it officially aligns with football’s premier global event.
