HoYoverse has unveiled the promotional splash art for Yao Guang. While her specific gameplay mechanics remain a mystery for now, a brief lore snippet was provided to introduce her:
I am Yao Guang, the Prescient Strategist of the Xianzhou Yuque. You may call me Madam Yao, as many others do. I could have predicted every detail of this encounter, but where is the fun in that? Indeed, I found quite a few pleasant surprises waiting for me here.
