A new banner target is arriving in Genshin Impact.
The developers of Genshin Impact have begun teasing playable characters coming in update 6.2. miHoYo (HoYoverse) has released the first teasers.
At the center of attention is Durin — a 5-star character whose element is Pyro.
His gameplay mechanics have not been revealed yet, but they shared a lore excerpt:
“O enemy of the wicked dragon Taslak, creature risen against destiny! My left eye has witnessed the weaving of cause and consequence, and the one who came into this world as a newborn will, in the end, pierce the doom of three thousand worlds and, at the hour of the final judgment, once more pronounce the forbidden name before the sworn foe…”
Genshin Impact update 6.2 is scheduled to release on December 3, 2025.
