Filming of “The Three Little Pigs” fantasy movie begins in Russia

Distributor Nashe Kino and the production company KinoFirma have officially announced the start of principal photography for their new fantasy feature, Three Little Pigs.

The plot follows three brothers on a trip to their grandfather’s countryside home. After embarking on a quest to find a mystical fern, the protagonists are unexpectedly transformed into piglets. To reclaim their human forms, the brothers must band together and defeat the formidable sorcerer Volkolak before daybreak.

The cast features Miron Provorov, Roman Pankov, Ilya Kondratenko, Nikita Kologrivy, Liza Arzamasova, and others. The film is co-directed by Alexander Babayev (Treasures of the Gnomes) and Vasily Rovensky (The Frog Princess). The release date will be announced at a later time.
