Players now have a reason to take another look at the Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay demonstration.

Rockstar Games recently held an official presentation titled “Grand Theft Auto VI: Extended Showcase,” during which it showed the PlayStation 5 version. Some viewers were bothered by the frame rate, as the game ran at 30 frames per second, though given the project’s scale, this was entirely expected.

Tech enthusiasts also took note of the presentation and decided to assemble a gameplay demo running at 60 frames per second. For example, YouTube creator rfyfkf GamersPrey published such a video.

The creator explained that the original footage captured on the PlayStation 5 was “converted and presented at 60 frames per second” for this video, though they did not delve into the technical details.

Viewers joked that such a frame rate will only be available on PlayStation 7 consoles.

In terms of the video’s content, everything remained the same. The main characters, Lucia and Jason, set out to complete a task, and soon the building where they were supposed to pick up a package is stormed by police officers. The developers then show other characters along with various activities and missions that the pair will have to undertake.

GTA VI is scheduled for release on November 19 of this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Rockstar Games and Take-Two have not yet announced a release window for the PC version.
