Players can now use DLSS RR 4.5 as well.

Modder xoxor4d returned in late August with another update for the unofficial Grand Theft Auto IV RTX remaster. Update 1.5.1 includes a series of technical improvements and fixes.

Players recently gained access to the NVIDIA DLSS 5 library, and xoxor4d reported that users can now try implementing the technology in his project as well. To do this, users must provide their own “nvngx_dlssnr.dll” file, as the files are not included in the remaster. In addition, the project now supports DLSS RR 4.5 (Ray Reconstruction).

The developer published several screenshots of the GTA IV RTX remaster:

xoxor4d continues to distribute his “gta4-rtx” project (GTAIV RTX Remix Compatibility Mod) for free via GitHub. The full description of update 1.5.1 is available at the following link. The modder has not yet announced when he plans to release the next update.

Rockstar Games itself is currently preparing for the release of a full new entry in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, Grand Theft Auto VI. The game is scheduled to launch in November of this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. A gameplay presentation was recently held.
