Fallout: New Vegas Modders Restore Cut Post-Game Dialogue

The final version of the game didn’t encompass every concept originally envisioned by its creators.

The modding community remains dedicated to unearthing the secrets hidden within the early builds of Fallout: New Vegas. During the development process, Obsidian Entertainment was forced to sideline numerous ideas, which enthusiasts are now working tirelessly to restore.

These creators have successfully gained access to “post-game” content intended to trigger after the main story concludes:

Recent discoveries show that the developers planned to implement specific dialogue trees that would react to the player’s chosen faction and ending.

For instance, if the NCR secures victory, the companion Cass would express her genuine relief at the Legion’s demise and even lightheartedly suggest naming her future child after the protagonist.

Should the player choose to consolidate power for Mr. House, the enigmatic tycoon offers his formal gratitude for the partnership, officially allowing the Courier to retain their luxury suite at the Lucky 38 as a permanent reward.
