PS5 Exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man Shown Running on Xbox Series X in Gameplay Footage
Under certain conditions, the Insomniac Games title can also be played on a Microsoft console.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is available not only on PlayStation but also on PC. That has let tech enthusiasts run the game on a competitor’s console.
A developer who goes by @DaddyPrinceWorld recently described running Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on the Xbox Series X|S. The console does not run a “native port” but the PC version. To make that work, the developer used “developer mode,” which lets players install and run apps outside the Xbox Store ecosystem.
@DaddyPrinceWorld explains that developer mode limits available memory to roughly 5 GB of RAM and video memory combined. As a result, players can’t run Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered at maximum graphics settings with a high frame rate. Lowering the settings can still produce playable performance.

@DaddyPrinceWorld showed the FPS counter in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered reaching more than 120 frames. During active gameplay, such as fights and web-swinging, the frame rate is very unstable and stays between 20 and 60 FPS. The game can also crash.
