The developers have acknowledged reports of glitches in the VATS system.
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will launch soon. Bethesda has announced a special update that brings a range of fixes and improvements.
Technical maintenance is scheduled from November 6 through November 10; during this period, Fallout 4 Mods and the Creation Club will be unavailable.
The team also warned that the upcoming patch will affect the menu:
The November 10 Fallout 4 update will modify the main menu. Please disable any mods that alter the main menu until November 10, as they may stop working after the patch is applied.
Changes won’t be limited to the Creations Menu — the update will also add support for widescreen and ultrawide monitors with improved UI scaling.
In addition, the VATS system will be repaired so it reports accurate information:
“VATS hit chance is now consistent across all platforms and will no longer drop to 0% or display incorrect values. Targeting enemies through walls without the Penetrator perk will no longer be possible.”
Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition is scheduled for release on November 10.
