“Fall 2” to be released in Russia
Distributor Karo Premier has unveiled the localized trailer for the high-stakes survival sequel, Fall 2. The film is slated for a Russian theatrical debut on September 24.
The narrative follows protagonist Jax Hunter (Harriet Slater) who, alongside her companion Luce (Arsema Thomas), embarks on a trekking adventure in Thailand, only to find herself stranded at a harrowing altitude of 1,500 meters.
Directing duties are handled by brothers Michael and Peter Spierig, known for Predestination. Scott Mann, the visionary behind the first installment, transitions into the roles of screenwriter and producer for this follow-up.
The original Fall premiered in 2022 to favorable critical reception, raking in $20 million globally against a modest $3 million production budget.
