“Faces of Death” gets digital release date

The horror film Faces of Death, starring Euphoria actress Barbie Ferreira, is set to arrive on digital platforms on May 12, as reported by WhenToStream.

This film serves as a reimagining of the notorious 1978 horror classic of the same name. The plot follows a content moderator who stumbles upon a disturbing online community recreating the gruesome murders depicted in the original franchise. As she investigates whether these lethal acts are authentic or merely staged, the boundary between her digital discovery and reality begins to blur.

The project also features performances by Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things) and singer Charli XCX, under the direction of Daniel Goldhaber (How to Blow Up a Pipeline). The film has garnered a positive reception from critics, currently holding a 67% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
