EA Deals Final Blow to Black Ops 7; Battlefield 6 to Be Free Temporarily
Players will have access to five modes and three maps.
EA revealed plans to offer Battlefield 6 as a partial free trial from November 25 through December 2. During that period players can experience five game modes and three maps, though the studio has not specified which ones.
The free trial announcement arrived alongside the California Resistance update. That patch introduces a new map, Eastwood — an affluent Californian neighborhood turned battleground — and a limited-time Sabotage mode featuring 8v8 combat.
Additionally, the RedSec battle royale received fresh content, including a new mission and hidden caches stocked with useful gear.
The next phase of Battlefield 6’s first season, Winter Offensive, launches on December 9 and will bring special seasonal content with a winter theme.
