Doctor Doom Joins Marvel Cosmic Invasion in New Fall DLC

The acclaimed retro-inspired co-op brawler, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, is expanding its horizons this autumn with a brand-new narrative campaign centered on Latveria’s supreme monarch: Doctor Doom. Titled The Siege of Castle Doom, the upcoming expansion places the iconic Fantastic Four arch-nemesis directly in the spotlight.

Positioned as a premium add-on, The Siege of Castle Doom introduces an entirely fresh gameplay mode built around Doom’s sinister machinations. While visual teasers and gameplay footage remain tightly under wraps, the expansion is confirmed to include two unannounced playable characters. Following the arrival of Cyclops and The Thing earlier this spring, anticipation is building over whether the latest combatants will further reinforce the X-Men and Fantastic Four ranks, or bring standalone Marvel heavyweights into the fray.

The Siege of Castle Doom is slated for a simultaneous launch across all supported systems, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
