Disney+ to Release New Pokémon Series
Disney and The Pokémon Company have forged a new partnership, announcing an original animated series set within the Pokémon universe for Disney+. The project will be crafted using stop-motion animation, with its debut slated for 2027.

The stop-motion production will be available to stream on Disney+ in regions outside of Asia. This collaboration builds upon an existing relationship between Pokémon and Disney, as the platform continues to secure rights to various new episodes and special installments of the franchise.
The highly anticipated Pokémon series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2027.
