Disney Reveals First Footage of Frozen 3

During last weekend’s D23 event in Anaheim, California, Disney unveiled the first official details regarding the highly anticipated third installment of the “Frozen” franchise. The animated feature is scheduled to hit theaters on November 24, 2027.

The iconic voice cast will return to their roles, featuring Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), and Josh Gad (Olaf). Plot details suggest the introduction of a formidable new antagonist, the long-awaited wedding of Anna and Kristoff, and a romantic subplot for Olaf, who finds love with a character named Samantha.

Jennifer Lee and Trent Correy are set to helm the project. Since the original “Frozen” debuted in 2013 and its 2019 sequel, the franchise has solidified its status as a powerhouse, grossing a combined $2.7 billion at the global box office. Former Disney CEO Bob Iger has also confirmed that development on a fourth film is already underway.
