Discord is preparing a collaboration with Rockstar Games centered on GTA 6, according to accounts that track Discord news. The platform has worked with Rockstar Games on several occasions.

Earlier this month, strings related to Grand Theft Auto VI were discovered in the code of Discord’s mobile app. They were removed shortly after the discovery became public.

Discord removed all GTA VI references from the app’s code just a day after they were leaked.

Also, which I didn’t mention yesterday, the date November 22 was found in the code, but it isn’t linked to any specific purpose or Rockstar event yet

According to the leaked information, a limited-time event codenamed Hexagon is in the works. It will add themed customization options for the mobile app logo, name display, and theme.

Some quests are also expected to come with special rewards.

The event was initially expected to begin on Tuesday, November 17, ahead of the game’s release. It was set to run until December 8 for regular users and until February 15 for Nitro subscribers.

A newer report suggests the event will start a day earlier, on November 16.

Starting November 16th, Discord and GTA 6 will be running a promotion that features a new Custom App Icon, Display Name Font and Client Theme.
