GTA 6 Ads Appear in Hollywood, Including a Mural, Banner, and Billboard
Los Angeles is the largest city on the US West Coast. It already has billboards from Netflix and advertising from Spotify. Now Rockstar Games has added its own.
Mural on Hollywood Boulevard
From October 15 to 18, artists painted Jason and Lucia on The Lofts building on Hollywood Boulevard, right above the Walk of Fame, one of the city’s main tourist attractions. Not everyone liked the result, because the faces of the Grand Theft Auto VI protagonists ended up in unnatural colors. The artists tried to adjust the final result, but the changes appear to have made it look worse.
Banner and Billboard on Sunset Boulevard
On nearby Sunset Boulevard, the developers took over an entire corner. Illustrations of the main characters appear on both sides of the banner, with the GTA VI cover art above them.
Hotel Figueroa
Hotel Figueroa in Skid Row has traditionally carried advertising for each new entry in the series on its facade. For now, the facade displays a promotion for the iPhone Duo. According to unconfirmed reports, that ad will remain there throughout 2026 and into 2027.
Grand Theft Auto 6 could still appear on the facade later, when the game is released for PC and the next generation of consoles.
