Developers of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Say Other Characters Will Get More Content

Cloud Strife will remain the main protagonist of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, although the developers will add more content dedicated to other characters.

Director Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed that the team knows about fans wanting to see more of the other characters, so the developers really wanted to add content that delves deeper into each of them.

Players will already be able to complete side quests with certain heroes acting as leaders, which will affect dialogue options. Separate content is expected for Barret, Tifa, Red XIII, Yuffie, and trilogy newcomers Vincent and Cid. Zack Fair may also receive attention.

At the same time, players will encounter another character, Chadley, alongside the AI assistant MAI created by him, who will appear to hand out side quests.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will be released on April 8, 2027.
