The newest patch optimizes the game for the PlayStation 5 Pro. Details are limited, but the title now holds a consistent 60 frames per second in Quality mode. Standard PS5 owners also enjoy smoother overall performance.

Death Stranding: Director’s Cut now includes support for a new power‑saving feature. This addition has appeared in several Sony releases and is intended for the PlayStation 6 and its handheld variant, codenamed PS6 Canis.
