Dave Franco, known for his role in “Somebody I Used to Know,” has joined the cast of the upcoming horror film “You’ll Die by Morning.” The project will be helmed by director Egor Abramenko, widely recognized for his work on the sci-fi thriller “Sputnik.”
The film is being produced by the acclaimed studio A24, with a script penned by Nick Antosca, the creator of “The Act.” The plot follows a couple, Rob and Sabil, who head to a mountain resort for their wedding, only to have the celebration interrupted by bloodthirsty, uninvited guests. Joining Franco in the cast is Sophie Wilde, best known for her standout performance in “Talk to Me.”
An official release date for the horror feature has yet to be announced. Notably, this is not the first time Abramenko has collaborated with A24; he was previously attached to direct another project for the studio titled “Altar,” which ultimately did not move forward into production.
