The second installment of the animated series is slated to premiere on May 12, 2026, with a narrative centered on the legendary confrontation between Dante and Vergil.
Netflix debuted an exclusive sneak peek of Devil May Cry Season 2 during IGN Fan Fest 2026. The teaser showcased the “new” additions to the cast—Ebony and Ivory, the iconic twin pistols synonymous with Dante since the inception of the Capcom game franchise.
In the upcoming season, Dante will once again cross paths with his brother, Vergil. Speaking with Collider, showrunner and executive producer Adi Shankar emphasized that the adaptation remains faithful to Vergil’s established persona, describing him as a character who “can stand perfectly still yet remain the most dangerous individual in the room.”
The original voice cast is set to return, featuring Johnny Yong Bosch as the voice of Dante and Robbie Daymond reprising his role as Vergil. Scout Taylor-Compton also returns to voice Lady, the character originally known as Mary Ann Arkham.
Season 2 of Devil May Cry will be available for streaming on Netflix starting May 12, 2026.
