Customs Officer Simulator “Contraband Police” Arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
Contraband Police, which debuted in 2023, quickly became one of the year’s most notable simulator titles. Publisher PlayWay has now announced the project will soon arrive on consoles.
Contraband Police is scheduled to launch on November 7, 2025, for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. You can already add the game to your wishlist on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, although pricing has not been disclosed yet.
Set at the border of the fictional region of Akaristan, the game puts you in the role of a border inspector tasked with checking vehicles, passports, and cargo paperwork. As the story advances, situations grow more complex and the choices you make begin to shape your character’s fate.
The publisher confirmed that the console edition will include all post-launch enhancements. The headline addition is the Inspector mode, which brings 30 checkpoint upgrades, 20 new entry rules, three document types, ten police ranks, and daily missions.
– a hand-painted customs officer figurine;
– a box modeled to resemble a smuggler’s crate;
– a poster-style map of Akaristan;
– the region’s flag;
– an official duty manual;
– a magnet featuring the game’s logo;
– exclusive in-game content.
