Universal Pictures has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. It includes Matthew Lillard, Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, Elizabeth Lail, and McKenna Grace, who discuss their work on the sequel.
The clip also highlights the Puppet — an animatronic from Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. Within the franchise’s lore, the character is connected to the spirit of a girl named Charlotte Emily, believed to be William Afton’s first victim.
The worldwide premiere of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is set for December 5, 2025. Universal aims to repeat the original film’s success, which grossed more than $270 million on a budget of just $20 million.
