Cosplayer Evgeny “GraysonFin” Vasiliev is fully prepared for the launch of Resident Evil Requiem and a return to the desolate streets of Raccoon City. He has stepped into the role of Leon S. Kennedy, the veteran DSO agent dedicated to eradicating global bioterrorism.
With the survival horror title Resident Evil Requiem arriving later this week, GraysonFin has released a stunning new photoshoot tailored specifically for the franchise’s loyal community.
In this collaboration with photographer Ekaterina Morpheeva, Vasiliev captures the essence of the iconic Leon S. Kennedy. In the upcoming game, Leon takes center stage alongside Grace Ashcroft as they navigate a new nightmare.
Leon, a key operative for the Division of Security Operations (DSO), is one of the few individuals to survive the 1998 Raccoon City catastrophe. Despite decades of confronting unspeakable horrors, he has managed to preserve his integrity and sense of justice.
Over time, the character has grown noticeably more world-weary and somber. In Requiem, Leon is depicted as a man haunted by his past, a stark contrast to his more optimistic early appearances. The developers highlight that he carries the immense psychological weight of every life he couldn’t save, from the fall of Raccoon City to the nightmares of Spain.
