Continuing to Move Forward

Greetings, everyone.

For some reason, I find myself feeling particularly heartened to connect with you all today.

Our team has been working tirelessly this week. Yet, upon arriving at the studio this morning and reviewing our latest build, I was struck by how much ground we still have to cover. There are moments when the sheer scale of the project feels overwhelming, leading me to question if we are truly charting the right course.

However, diving into the feedback from our recent survey served as a powerful compass. It reinforced our core mission: to provide players with clear, engaging objectives, to craft interactions that feel intuitive rather than forced, and to ensure that our diverse systems harmonize into a cohesive, immersive experience. Naturally, refining stability and smoothing out rough edges remain our most pressing priorities.

Despite the challenges, I feel incredibly fortunate. My passion for game development remains undimmed. Even when a long day leaves me exhausted, a sudden spark of inspiration—a way to breathe more life into Zoi’s conversations or interactions—is enough to pull me right back in, causing me to lose track of time entirely.

I remain optimistic about our journey, bolstered by the unwavering support of our community and the tireless dedication of our development team.

I know that hard work doesn’t guarantee perfection; we are all human, and we certainly stumble along the way. But as the saying goes, the darkest hour comes just before the dawn. Who knows? Perhaps all these pieces will eventually click into place, transforming inZOI into a title that resonates with players across the globe.

I hold firmly to one truth: life is in a constant state of flux. Even when today feels like an uphill battle, there is always the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

Forgive me—this post has turned into quite a personal reflection. I suppose I’ve grown more comfortable opening up to you all. I still vividly recall my first day attempting to post here; I couldn’t even manage the login and had to enlist a colleague’s help. I remember feeling stunned by the flood of comments, initially trying to respond to every single one because I didn’t know any better. Looking back, that evolution into my current way of communicating is just another example of how things change over time.

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.

I look forward to our next update.

Best regards,

kjun
