Apple TV+ has released the inaugural posters for its upcoming series, Cape Fear. This reimagining of Martin Scorsese’s iconic thriller is set to premiere on the platform on June 5.
The series features Amy Adams and Javier Bardem in the lead roles. The narrative centers on a married couple—both attorneys—who find their lives upended when a dangerous criminal, whom they helped put behind bars years prior, is released from prison and crosses their path once more.
The ensemble cast also includes Patrick Wilson, Ted Levine, and Anna Baryshnikov, among others. The adaptation was spearheaded by Nick Antosca, known for his work on The Act, with Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg serving as executive producers.
Based on John D. MacDonald’s 1957 novel The Executioners, the Cape Fear limited series will consist of 10 episodes.
