Capcom to Release amiibo and Gamepad for Resident Evil Requiem on Switch 2

Capcom has opened pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem and unveiled accessories created specifically for Nintendo Switch 2 owners.

Capcom has shared further details about the launch of Resident Evil Requiem and related Switch 2 peripherals. Coinciding with the game’s release on February 27, 2026, the company will offer a limited-edition Pro Controller themed after Resident Evil — decorated with newspaper-style clippings from a fictional Raccoon City publication.

Pre-orders for the controller are already live in official online shops, including the Nintendo Store. It is listed at $99.99, which is $10 above the price of a standard Pro Controller. Beyond its unique appearance, the unit is mechanically identical to the regular Pro Controller.

Capcom is also preparing a collectible amiibo honoring the series’ new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft. That figure is set to arrive in summer 2026, after the game’s launch. The company has not yet revealed the amiibo’s design or any potential in-game perks, so fans will need to wait for an official showcase.
