The Resident Evil franchise drives the vast majority of Capcom’s business.

According to an estimate by analytics firm Alinea Analytics, Capcom games on Steam have generated more than $617 million in gross revenue.

The Resident Evil series serves as the primary revenue source, accounting for roughly 61.6% of Capcom’s total Steam earnings. Resident Evil Requiem alone generated over $200 million, which makes up about 32.6% of the company’s overall total.

Older titles continue to bring in a substantial portion of earnings, with projects released prior to 2026 accounting for roughly 49.1% of revenue.

Pragmata accounts for another 9.8%, contributing approximately $60.5 million. This figure does not include the recent success of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which sold over one million copies in its first day on the market.
