Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Campaign Can Be Finished in One Evening

Critics have fresh cause to grumble: the campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 amounts to little more than a modest adjunct to the game’s main offerings.

For those hoping for an expansive narrative, the news is disappointing.

Black Ops 7 ships with a full lineup: multiplayer featuring 16 maps in the 6v6 format, a revamped Zombies mode, and a conventional single‑player campaign. It is the latter, however, that proves to be the most restrained once again.

Judging by published playthroughs, the storyline runs approximately 3.5–4.5 hours. There are clips online just over three hours long, while others stretch to nearly five — it all depends on difficulty settings and play pace.

This shouldn’t come as a revelation. The series adheres to a familiar pattern: the campaign sets the tone, but the core experience unfolds in the multiplayer modes and cooperative Zombies matches, where many fans spend the lion’s share of their time.
