Brad Pitt’s “The Adventures of Cliff Booth” Sent for Reshoots

Director David Fincher and streaming giant Netflix are revisiting several scenes for the upcoming feature The Adventures of Cliff Booth, according to reports from World of Reel.

The reshoots are scheduled to take place this August. Industry journalist Jeff Sneider reports that Fincher was reportedly dissatisfied with the initial cut and pushed for significant revisions. While those major changes would have been prohibitively expensive, Netflix ultimately granted the filmmaker a limited window of a few days to refine the project. Cinematographer Erik Messerschmidt (known for Mank) will be unavailable for these dates, so Jeff Cronenweth (Fight Club) will step in as a temporary replacement.

The Adventures of Cliff Booth serves as a spin-off/sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, with Brad Pitt reprising his role as the iconic stuntman. The script was penned by Tarantino himself. Principal photography spanned six months and officially wrapped in January 2026. While many outlets anticipated a premiere at the Venice Film Festival, the film was ultimately not ready for an exhibition.
