Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, stars of the romantic drama “It Ends with Us,” have officially reached a settlement regarding their harassment lawsuit, according to media reports.

Although the initial court hearing was scheduled for mid-May, both parties managed to resolve the dispute beforehand. In 2024, Lively alleged that Baldoni, who also directed the film, engaged in harassment during production and orchestrated an aggressive publicity campaign against her. Subsequently, Baldoni filed a countersuit against The New York Times following the publication of an article detailing his purported efforts to damage Lively’s professional reputation.

“The final product, the film ‘It Ends with Us,’ is a source of pride for everyone involved in its creation. Our shared goal remains to raise awareness and create a meaningful impact for survivors of domestic violence. We recognize the challenges involved in this process and believe the concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserve to be heard. We remain steadfast in our commitment to fostering safe and productive workplace environments. We sincerely hope this resolution allows all parties to move forward constructively and peacefully, including by fostering a more respectful online discourse,”

— Baldoni’s representatives stated. Based on the novel by Colleen Hoover, “It Ends with Us” follows a florist, played by Lively, caught in an abusive relationship with a neurosurgeon, portrayed by Baldoni. The film premiered in the summer of 2024, grossing $350 million at the global box office.
