The film
The story follows Sarah and David: they meet for the first time at a mutual friend’s wedding and soon set off on an extraordinary adventure that fundamentally alters the course of their lives.
Directed by Kogonada (After Yang) with a screenplay by Seth Reiss (The Menu), the movie struggled at the global box office—earning $20 million against a $45 million budget—and was met with predominantly negative reviews, holding a 37% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
