Battlefield 6 fan threatens to refuse to help players using overly bright skins
Not everyone wants the game to feel like a modern Call of Duty.
Recently, images of skins that could arrive with the launch of Battlefield 6’s first season began leaking online. Players zeroed in on one particular look that, according to the circulating information, may be obtainable for free.
Ohforfk started a thread about gear featuring bright blue accents:
…it looks like once the first season begins everything will become a garish mix, making it impossible to tell teams apart by uniform. People liked the idea of battlefields that felt authentic — soldiers instead of a crowd of random characters like in 2042 — but that hope has been betrayed, and it’ll likely get worse. During the beta, when every soldier wore the same kit, the matches felt more thrilling than anything else so far, but that atmosphere is gone and won’t come back. There won’t be biome-appropriate uniforms or a way to turn off some of these awful skins — the usual bait-and-switch.
Players pointed to Battlefield 1 as a positive example of skin design. One commenter even warned they wouldn’t revive anyone wearing such a garish skin.
