Banquet of Fools Full Version Released: A Beat ‘Em Up and RPG Hybrid Inspired by Baldur’s Gate

After more than a year of refinement in Steam Early Access, Banquet of Fools has officially made its grand debut with the full 1.0 release.

The game masterfully blends the isometric depth of classic CRPGs like Baldur’s Gate with the kinetic energy of a beat ’em up. Players can dynamically cycle through a four-person party to orchestrate devastating combo attacks and maintain tactical flow.

The development duo at Hannah and Joseph Games expressed their sincere gratitude to the community, noting that player insights were pivotal in polishing the experience and attracting high-caliber artists to the project.

The studio has committed to a roadmap of free content updates and new gameplay modes throughout the coming year. These additions will be integrated into the “Treasury” New Game+ menu, becoming available once the main campaign is conquered.

Currently sitting at a stellar 91% positive rating on Steam, Banquet of Fools is being lauded as the “CRPG I never knew I needed.” Reviewers have highlighted the intuitive controls, seamless real-time combat, cinematic presentation, and the meaningful weight of choices and character customization.
