Bandai Namco Releases Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO on Switch 2 — Launch Trailer Debuts
As Nintendo’s new platform, the Switch 2 will gradually receive major titles that, for technical reasons, bypassed the original console. One such example is a recent release set in the Dragon Ball universe.
Bandai Namco has launched Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO on the Switch 2, bringing its spectacular battles to a handheld system. The game includes over 180 fighters from across the Dragon Ball franchise, and the Switch 2 edition delivers noticeably stronger visuals than the versions on the original Switch.
The title supports motion-based input with the Joy-Con, letting players perform signature moves by replicating gestures with the controllers. Available modes include a story campaign, online matches, and local multiplayer — on the Switch 2 local play allows up to six players. On the new hardware the game runs at 30 frames per second.
