Los Angeles recently played host to the 53rd Saturn Awards, the premier ceremony dedicated to honoring excellence in genre cinema and television.
Leading the pack of victors were Avatar: Fire and Ash, which secured the title of Best Science Fiction Film, and Tom Cruise, who was named Best Actor for his performance in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
The accolades continued for the Avatar franchise as James Cameron took home the Best Director trophy. Elle Fanning was recognized as Best Actress for her role in Predator: Badlands, while Jacob Elordi was among the other notable winners. In the television categories, the Saturn Awards celebrated standout series such as Andor and IT: Welcome to Derry.
