Analyst Reports Weak Sales for Halo: Campaign Evolved
According to analyst Rhys Elliott, the Halo: Campaign Evolved remake sold 1.2 million copies and generated about $67 million in revenue during its first month.
The remake of the first installment in the Halo space saga, Halo: Campaign Evolved, sold 1.2 million copies in the month following its release, based on estimates from analyst Rhys Elliott. The game was intended to open a new chapter for the franchise and attract many new players.
The launch was overshadowed by technical issues and an unfortunate release window, as the game had to compete for audience attention against new entries in the Call of Duty series. Total revenue was estimated at approximately $67 million. Even availability on Game Pass did not save the figures, as about 2 million subscribers launched the game.

Sales were split almost evenly between PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, according to the analyst data. A few more percentage points came from PC via Steam. Meanwhile, the launch of Halo on Sony’s console did not generate the anticipated excitement.
The result may have been influenced by the absence of fan-favorite multiplayer and a relatively high starting price, especially against the backdrop of previous series collections that offered more content.
