Toxic Crusaders Gameplay Shown, Featuring Retro-Style Brawling
Toxic Crusaders has a new gameplay trailer that shows four-player co-op, flashy brawling, and a boss fight. The game still has no release date.
The developers at Retrowave originally planned to launch Toxic Crusaders on December 4, 2025. They later delayed it by almost 11 months without announcing a new date. The team says it wants to bring the game to the highest possible quality, which requires additional time.
The new trailer shows a variety of enemies, impactful strikes, and a boss battle at the end. Based on the footage, the developers appear to be making a classic retro-style beat ’em up with a co-op mode for four players.
Toxic Crusaders will launch on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
