Ana de Armas and Jennifer Connelly Board Ron Howard’s Survival Thriller ‘Eden’
The ensemble for Ron Howard’s upcoming survival drama, Eden, has reached new heights of star power. Reports confirm that Ana de Armas and Jennifer Connelly have officially signed onto the project, joining a powerhouse cast that already includes Jude Law, Vanessa Kirby, and Sydney Sweeney.
Formerly titled Origin of Species, the film is a dark, investigative look into the complexities of the human condition. Set on a desolate island within the Galapagos archipelago, the narrative revolves around a group of individuals who abandon the comforts of civilization to uncover the true meaning of existence. However, their quest for paradise soon descends into a grueling psychological and physical battle for survival.
Principal photography is currently underway in Queensland, Australia. The production also features a musical score by the legendary Hans Zimmer, marking another milestone in his long-standing creative partnership with director Ron Howard.
